Quando Sancho Pança vira Dom Quixote - A invenção da Silésia no filme Angelus de Lech Majewski

Resumo
Este artigo apresenta a figura do diretor polonês Lech Majewski e discute um dos temas centrais da sua obra, a busca do paraíso por meio do trabalho artístico, no exemplo de filme Angelus (Lech Majewski, 2001). No filme, Majewski reinventa a Silésia, sua terra natal. Tentamos mostrar as ligações que unem o filme com as outras obras do autor e explorar a presença da região silesiana em sua obra.

Abstract
This paper presents polish film director Lech Majewski and discusses one of the essential themes of his work, the pursuit of paradise through the artwork, based on the example of the movie Angelus (Lech Majewski, 2001). In the film Majewski reinvents Silesia, his homeland. This paper tries to show the links that unite the film with the other works of the author and explore the presence of the Silesia region in his work.
