Epistemologia e jornalismo: a falência da objetividade

Resumo
O artigo “Epistemologia e jornalismo: a falência da objetividade” discute a prática de produção de notícias a partir das questões colocadas em pauta pelo debate histórico entre a filosofia e a ciência (epistemologia), sob o foco das Ciências Sociais. A intenção foi relativizar a prática jornalística a partir da crise do sujeito, do objeto e do modo de representação modernos, tendo em vista a falência do sujeito imparcial, desprovido de valores, do objeto que existe anterior à Linguagem e também da idéia de “verdade por correspondência”. Com isso, procurou-se confrontar um dos pilares canônicos da prática jornalística: a objetividade.

Abstract
The text “Epistemologia e jornalismo: a falência da objetividade” (Epistemology and Journalism: the objectivity’s failure) tries to discuss the practice of producing news by the questions raised within the historical debate between Filosofy and Science (epistemology), focusing speciffically in the field of the Social Sciences. The intention was to rethink Journalism, as a practice, by the crisis of the moderns subject, object and way of representation, having in mind the failure of the impartial subject, without values or interests, of the existing object before Language and also of the “truth by correspondence”. With all that, it was possible to confront one of the greatest issues of the modern Journalism: the objectivity.
