Retórica, Grécia e Roma Antigas: vestígios da futura linguagem jornalística

Resumo
O artigo situa, brevemente, a origem do discurso jornalístico – incluindo o lead – nos elementos retóricos da antigüidade greco-romana. O recurso da oratória, dirigida a determinado auditório percorre, ainda hoje, conforme o autor, a lógica do discurso jornalístico e de suas estratégias narrativas, diversificadas e adaptadas ao longo dos dois milênios seguintes. Baseando-se em autores clássicos, como Aristóteles e Cícero, o texto atualiza alguns debates sobre a linguagem jornalística, incluindo autores contemporâneos. Assim, considera que a especificidade oratória do jornalismo permanece em distintos suportes tecnológicos – como recurso narrativo que busca convencer e ter credibilidade e legitimidade sociais –, inclusive no cenário atual do ciberespaço.

Abstract
The article situates, briefly, the origin of the journalistic speech – including the lead – in the Greek-roman antique rhetoric elements. Oratory resource, directed to a specific audience goes through, still today, according to the author, the logic of journalistic speech and yours strategics of narratives, diversified and adapted throughout the next two millenniums. Based on classical authors, as Aristotle and Cicero, the text updates some debates about the journalistic language, including contemporaneous authors. Thus, it regards the specifics of journalism oratory lasts in distinguish technological supports – as a narrative resource that seeks to convince and to have credibility and social legitimacy –, even in nowadays scenario of cyberspace.
