O presente texto procura investigar as representações, o uso, as adaptações d´Os sertões de Euclides da Cunha no cinema brasileiro, assim como a recorrência do tema do sertão, seus trajetos culturais e transformações na forma de emprego e seus significados.

Abstract
This paper investigates the representations, the uses, adaptations of Os sertões by Euclides da Cunha in Brazilian cinema as well as the recurrent theme of the interior, its cultural paths, and the transformations in their meanings.
