A pena do dragão no tabloide de Ipanema: memórias da relação entre Glauber Rocha e O Pasquim nos anos 1970

Resumo
Em 1970, durante a ditadura militar e a vigência do Ato Institucional nº 5, Glauber Rocha foi um ativo colaborador do jornal humorístico carioca O Pasquim. A parceria entre o cineasta baiano e os membros do tabloide foi colaborativa enquanto se viam como agentes do mesmo campo de produção simbólica –aquele em que se posicionavam os opositores do regime autoritário. Em 1974, uma atitude inesperada de Glauber provocou, no grupo do jornal, um mal-estar gerado pela desconfiança de que o cineasta teria “aderido” ao regime. A partir daí, a relação se modificou e deu lugar a um clima de tensão. Este artigo propõe, com base no arcabouço teórico sustentado por Pierre Bourdieu e em sua elaboração acerca do poder simbólico, compreender as tensões das disputas de sentido ocorridas entre Glauber Rocha e os integrantes d’O Pasquim.

Abstract
In 1970, during the military dictatorship and the Institutional Act No. 5, Glauber Rocha was an active collaborator of the humorous newspaper from Rio de Janeiro, O Pasquim. The partnership between the Bahian filmmaker and the tabloid members was collaborative while seeing themselves as agents of the same field of symbolic production – that they were standing opponents of the authoritarian regime. In 1974, an unexpected attitude of Glauber provoked in the group of the newspaper a discomfort generated by the mistrust that the filmmaker had “adhered” to the regime. From there, the relationship changed and gave way to a tense climate. This article proposes, based on theories of Pierre Bourdieu and his elaboration on the symbolic power, to understand the tensions of the disputes of meaning that occurred between Glauber Rocha and the members of O Pasquim.
