A Critic to the Critic of the Political Economy of the Sign: A Rescue of “Use Value” Inspired on Ludwig Wittgenstein’s Second Philosophy In spite of the importance of the concept of value in the way organizations undertake their market transactions, this essay goes beyond its definition by marketing and returns to its genesis in the political economy and to the critics firstly proposed by Marx and later by Baudrillard. Thus, the objective of this essay is a critical reflection on value. For such, besides Marx’s and Baudrillard’s critics, we leaned upon on a dialectic vision between everyday life and system, as thought by Debord, arriving at a two-dimensional world, where system and everyday life live together. The proposed thesis is based on a critic to the critic of the political economy of the sign proposed by Baudrillard, in which the “use value” is rescued in the plan of symbolic consumption. Such proposition is based on Wittgenstein’s second philosophy, which puts signification in the plan of language in use, through his renowned notion of “language games”. Key-words
