Intersecção entre forma e informação:um filme etnopoético

Resumo
Este artigo discute a intersecção entre forma e informação em 500 almas (2004), de Joel Pizzini, um relato etnopoético da resistência e da reconstrução de identidade dos guatós – um grupo indígena do Pantanal – através de camadas de temporalidades, fazendo uso de muitas vozes, do tratamento artificial da realidade, da ficcionalização e de entrevistas. Particularmente, observa a presença da voz acusmática, do intervalo e da textura da montagem de planos assimétricos e fragmentados para dar conta de um conteúdo político.

Abstract
This paper elaborates on the relationship between form and information in the film 500 almas, produced in 2004 and directed by Joel Pizzini. It is an ethno-poetic account of the resistance and the reconstruction of identity of the guatós, an Indian group living in the Brazilian Pantanal region. The director dwells with layers of temporality making use of several voices, an artificial treatment of reality, fictionalization and interviews. He observes the presence of the acousmatic voice, of intervals and special textures in the editing of the scenes, with the intention to achieve a political meaning.
