The death of Eduardo Campos and the narrative of political media show: from journalism to political propaganda As communication technologies evolve, transformation of public happenings in political media show starts to occupy a privileged place in contemporary society. Great tragedies, especially when linked to State chiefs, leaders and prominent public personalities cause significant popular commotion and are included in media’s agenda, which invest in broadcasting new shows. For this, sometimes amplifies individual and/or political capital of the people involved. Accordingly, the present article`s objective is analyze the political medial show built around the death of Eduardo Campos, who was running for presidency of Brasil at the time, competing for political party “Partido Socialista Brasileiro”; with the purpose of identifying if the tragedy`s legacy was absorbed by political propaganda of candidate Marina Silva, indicated by Campos` party to replace him at the presidential campaign of 2014.
