A autoficção na literatura brasileira contemporânea: o caso de Divórcio, de Ricardo Lísias
Palavras-chave
The Cultural Industry has been dedicating space to the narratives of the “self”, whether in TV shows, periodical columns, TV series or websites. The book market is no exception. Works such as biographies and the so-called autofictions have increasingly gained prominence among new releases. From an analysis of the novel Divórcio by brazilian author Ricardo Lísias, which uses it to weave a critique of journalism, this article aims to build a brief discussion about the concept of autofiction and to construe its presence in the contemporary Brazilian literature scene. This study is the result of a theoretical research in the field of Communication Studies and uses content analysis as well as literary analysis to help elucidate the reasons why these so-called personal narratives have been prominent in today’s cultural production.
