Resumo
O artigo procura desvendar a razão do fascínio que a famosa sequência de Cantando na chuva, passados 60 anos da produção do filme, ainda causa nos espectadores e como a alegria da dança de Gene Kelly, ao celebrar a vida, provoca o júbilo unindo o Profano ao Sagrado.

Abstract
The article seeks to uncover the reason for the fascination that the famous sequence from Singin’ in the Rain, after 60 years of film production, yet the spectators and as the joy of dance of Gene Kelly, to celebrate life, causes the rejoicing uniting the Profane to the Sacred.
